"Henry Moore was written, talked and brioadcast about sculpture from time to time over the past 30 years. As he is the world´s greatest living sculptor his words have an importance far beyond his original audience or readership. What he has to say is of the most profound interest not only to professional artists but to all those interested in contemporary art. Now for the first time his writings and sayings have been collected an insight into the mind of a genius. The numerous illustrations, many of them photographs taken by Henry Moore himself, show not only his own sculpture and drawings but relate them to the work of many artists of other periods about whom Moore has spoken and writen.
